Leadership is not helping African youth - Captain Smart

According to Captain Smart, the African youth has got a brain. “The African youth is not a foolish person,” he said, noting that the problem of the African youth is its leadership. of Africa is supposed to create hope. A thing he believes the leadership has failed at doing for years.

“The problem of the African youth is that the leadership is not helping the African youth,” he argued. Laying scenarios to support his argument, the former employee of Multimedia Group, precisely Adom FM, observed that “the country is producing 275, 000 graduates a year what is the plan for them?” he asked.

Arguing, he indicated that there have been several conversations about the leadership of Africa helping the youth, and up till now – the youth are still lamenting. “Every government comes to say they’ve created jobs for the youth… where?” Smart he asked again while speaking to Paul Adom Otchere, host of Good Evening Ghana.

“If you look at the trend that leadership in Africa is moving in. The next 10 years ahead of us… If this is how we are going to manage Africa. Africa can not contain the African,” he added.

When asked what the solution is for the poor leadership in Africa, Smart noted that “we need quality leadership.” He revealed that in 2016 and in the 2020 general elections, he voted for the NPP so he doesn’t get why the party is trying to make him a public enemy when he holds no qualms against Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
